Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ImpactGain Radar collects, why, and your rights over it. ImpactGain Radar is a product of ImpactGain (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Questions? Email hello@impactgain.agency.

1. Who We Are

ImpactGain is a Revenue Operations consultancy for B2B SaaS companies. ImpactGain Radar is our competitive intelligence platform, accessible at radar.impactgain.agency. For the purposes of data protection law, ImpactGain acts as the data controller for the personal data of users of this service.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

When you register, we collect your name, work email address, and company name. This is necessary to create and manage your account.

Billing data

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details directly — we never see or store card numbers, CVV codes, or bank details. We do store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we can manage your plan.

Usage data

We record which competitors you track, features you use, and when you log in. This helps us improve the service and is not sold to third parties.

Technical data

We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, and device information when you use the service. This is used for security, debugging, and fraud prevention.

Competitor intelligence data

When you add a competitor to track, our system collects publicly available information about that company — LinkedIn posts, Meta and LinkedIn ads, Instagram and Facebook posts, and blog articles. This is public data about third-party businesses, not personal data about individuals.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Radar service (contract performance)
  • To send you weekly AI digest emails every Monday (contract performance)
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (contract performance)
  • To send product updates and important service notices (legitimate interests)
  • To detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents (legitimate interests)
  • To improve and develop the platform based on aggregated usage patterns (legitimate interests)

We do not sell your personal data. If you accept cookies, the Meta pixel tells Meta that you visited this site and whether you signed up, so we can measure our own ads and show them to people who have already visited. If you reject cookies, nothing is sent to Meta. Your account data is never used for advertising.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share data with the following service providers, who process it only on our behalf and under written data processing agreements:

ProviderPurposeLocation
SupabaseDatabase & authenticationEU / US
StripePayment processingUS
ResendTransactional emailUS
ApifyPublic web data collectionEU / US
VercelApplication hostingUS

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework as a lawful transfer mechanism.

5. Data Retention

  • Account and usage data — retained for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion to allow recovery.
  • Billing records — retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
  • Competitor intelligence data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure.
  • Backups — encrypted database backups are retained for up to 30 days.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies — a session cookie set by Supabase, which is what keeps you logged in. The service cannot work without it.

Analytics cookies — only if you accept, Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) sets cookies so we can count visits, see which pages people actually use, and tell whether a campaign worked. These record how the site is used, not who you are.

Advertising cookies — only if you accept, the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) sets a cookie and tells Meta which pages you viewed here and whether you created an account. We use it to measure which of our ads work and to show our ads to people who have already visited. We never send Meta your name, email address or anything from your account. Meta is responsible for how it uses this data on its own platforms; see Meta’s privacy policy.

Your choice — the banner asks before any analytics or advertising cookie is set, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Either way we store your answer in a cookie called ads_consent for six months, shared across impactgain.agency and its subdomains, so we do not ask on every page. You can change your mind at any time with the button below; the banner then asks again. The product works exactly the same whatever you choose.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@impactgain.agency. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls limited to authorised personnel, and regular security reviews. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Children

ImpactGain Radar is a professional B2B tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
